“TELEVISED” — A Generation’s Rebellion Begins Behind the Camera in Debut Feature Film

Philadelphia, PA – November 2025 — Consurgo Films announces the upcoming feature film TELEVISED, a provocative coming-of-age thriller from writer/director Tim Viola, currently in active development and eyeing a summer 2026 production start in the Philadelphia region.

Inspired by true events, TELEVISED follows two rogue student journalists who hijack their high-school graduation broadcast to expose a dangerous education program — igniting a rebellion that forces an entire generation to decide whether to stay silent or rise.

Equal parts youth rebellion, media thriller, and modern parable, TELEVISED asks what happens when truth itself becomes the act of revolution. Viola, known for his visual storytelling and social commentary, describes the project as “a coming-of-age story wrapped inside a political thriller — about young people taking back control of the narrative in a world that keeps rewriting them.”

Set against the backdrop of a suburban Philadelphia school district gripped by a mysterious education program known as “Loxley,” the film explores how surveillance, conformity, and courage collide in the most unlikely of places: a high school TV studio.

TELEVISED features August Darby, a quiet perfectionist with a wildfire mind, and Jas Forge, a tempest-souled student journalist whose defiance lights the match. Together, they risk everything to expose the system that made them.

“We were taught to follow the script in life. The same script generations followed with the promise of a future. TELEVISED is what happens when we say 'enough' and start to rewrite that script for the promise of something new.” -Viola

Producer Kris Mendoza, pga, is attached to produce and the film is being packaged under Viola’s Consurgo Films banner with a projected $750K–$1.2M budget. The project recently received a 75 Slated Score, signaling strong market potential for a first-feature thriller with elevated themes and youth appeal.
